Alumni Association

Are you a member of the Alumni Association? Being a member is invaluable to a new graduate or to anyone looking to advance their career. The association provides numerous avenues for you to maintain and expand connections in the alumni community, as well as opportunities to give back to the university.

A lifetime association
Studying at Constructor University gives you connections – often for your whole life. The ALUMNI ASSOCIATION E.V. was founded in 2004 by the first generation of graduates. Since then, over 5,000 students have obtained their degrees from this University.

The aim of the Association is to preserve and develop solidarity and exchange between former students. Regular events, an annual Homecoming, a growing number of alumni chapters in more and more cities around Europe and worldwide, an intranet with forums, profiles, and job offers, an Alumni Fund for donations, and many other opportunities for participation provide added value for Constructor University’s alumni and the entire campus community. This gives rise to a broad, multicultural, international social network based on a common foundation: Constructor University in Bremen.

What was the largest benefit your Constructor University education provided you with?

My largest benefit is the international and transdisciplinary perspective. Today a broad knowledge base and a solid cultural understanding is critical for people, business, and society. Constructor University gave me this knowledge and tools to use.

What is most rewarding about participating in the Alumni Board?

The most rewarding - being connected back into this network that challenges each other in thoughtful debate to ultimately benefit all. While we are not always of the same opinion, our mutual respect and the debate culture that we all have makes it a pleasure to work together and is something that I have missed in the US.
